Very affordable, very clean and has an island vibe to it. But the taste is just ok. Out of the three seafood boil restaurants I have been to, this one comes in third. Maybe it’s the sauce? I ordered a lb of shrimp with the signature sauce. My server was remarkable. I give him 10/10 for his service.
Found this place while driving in the area and decided to stop and try it. It’s a nice island vibe on the inside with enough space if one wanted to have a party. We ordered 2lbs of crab legs, mild spice, with the signature island spice, 3 corn and 2 potatoes. The 2lbs was more than enough for two people. It’s probably the most we’ve gotten in a boil. The spice level was perfect, but if you can’t handle heat, don’t go higher than mild. Our server, Julius, was amazing and we never had to ask for refills or anything. The sauce was a little saltier than I’m used to, but the best flavor I’ve had in boil thus far! I definitely plan on coming back.
The food was fantastic, I wanted some spice and what I got was the heat I was looking for. Our waiter was top notch and took great care of us! I will be back.
Crab Island offers delicious seafood and a happy, island atmosphere. They offer combos, make your own seafood boils, and AYCE. It was affordable and tasty. The restaurant was clean and they have a separate sink to wash your hands when your done. We will definitely be back!!
My husband and I were craving a seafood boil after a long hike at the desert and Crab Island was the closest restaurant to us when we left the RR Canyon.
For $34.99usd/person, it’s AYCE blue crabs, clams, mussels, shrimps or crawfish. You’re only allowed to order two items and two sides at a time and everyone at the table must get AYCE. The time limit is 90 minutes and oh boy, we definitely ate our money’s worth. We ordered two bags of seafood each. FYI: if you can’t finish your food, you CANNOT pack it up and you’ll be charged $1.99usd per half pound! Make sure you don’t over order and stuff yourself to death.
I am genuinely shocked at how they offered blue crabs on the AYCE menu. Back in Canada, it costs $8cad for one crab and just in one bag, I ate a whole family’s worth of crabs (there were at least 6-7 crabs in there).
Good and fast service. The waiter gave us a lot of free refills for our coke. I’m sad that they weren’t that busy on a Friday night (only 4 tables including us), they need the recognition because the seafood was so damn delicious! The best sauce is the cajun garlic butter and highly recommend you order it in mild if you can’t handle the heat.
There’s even a sink outside of their washrooms if you just want to wash your hands. Very convenient for messy eaters like myself.
It’s a new location so they’re still working on getting it all spruced up for us. I went there w my family, all 5 of us. The waiter Matte was super pleasant and when we asked him if they had a booster or high chair he brought one out and double checked if we needed the other instead. Which actually worked out perfectly. My baby is 10 months old and we didn’t bring the stroller so seeing those 2 options was nice. He went over the menu and specialty items. He was very knowledgeable and had a good fun vibe. When you first walk in you’re greeted by this sign that reads only good vibes, and the atmosphere definitely fit that. The restaurant is huge, and they even have a private dining room area which is closed off. Very chill, open space. The menu isn’t too crazy or overwhelming. We got Alaskan King Crab legs, mussels, and fried shrimp combo. We ordered the crab island special seasoning, we wanted lemon pepper originally but it was unavailable at the time. Everything was delicious. We were all super stoked to try this place, esp cause of my Groupon coupon. We saved a lil ate a lot and chilled in good company. Go check it out guys.
Great place to eat! Service was awesome and food was amazing! The house sauce was delicious. They even gave me a side of spicy sauce since my husband and I shared and he doesn't do spicy. The seafood fries appetizer was sooo good too! Prices were reasonable compared to other crab restaurant's. Highly recommended.
❤️❤️❤️Ooooohhhhhh my goodness!! This place is honestly a hidden treasure in Las Vegas! Great place for family and friends. We came around 4:30 and decided to eat dinner here! The place looked dead, but their service and speed made me question why it wasn’t so popular! Coming before their rush (staff informed us it gets busy around 6:00) was a great decision! We ordered Combo B, adding 2 additional potatoes and corn. It fed my family of 5, and we finished the whole thing with full bellies! Their customer service was above and beyond! They broke down the menu making our decision on the meal faster and more efficient! After we ordered they gave us bibs and gloves to prevent messes! Their sauce was so good and they even gave us a sample of their other sauce and it was so good! love this place and will be returning the next time I come to Vegas! THANK YOU CRAB ISLAND FOR MAKING OUR VEGAS TRIP MORE MEMORABLE!
They have a beautiful hand painted mural inside- I SUGGEST CAPTURING A PHOTO IN FRONT OF IT! ❤️❤️❤️
